Modern Machinery offers two types of Peddinghaus ironworkers the PeddiMax and the Peddiworker.

PeddiMax

Continuing in the footsteps of the legendary 210 series of mechanical ironworkers, the PeddiMax two-station hydraulic ironworkers are designed for continuous production with independent cylinders and a unique dual slide design. Hydraulic power of up to 140 tons ensures that you have power to spare, and the various tooling options available provide you with a quick, efficient way to produce parts for your next big job.

Specifications of the PeddiMax Ironworker

  • Unique dual slide
  • Independent operation of the punch and shear
  • True 90° operation to all 5 workstations
  • Standard tooling allows up to 1 1/4″ holes, or up to 5 1/2″ with oversized attachment.
  • Angle shearing capabilities up to 6 x 6 x 1/2″.
  • Flat shearing up to 20″ x 5/8″.


Angle Sheer Opening
The unique slide design allows for true 90° shearing and provides a much cleaner cut, with less deformation or burring then the leading competition.









Square Notcher Opening
The standard square notching attachment allows for coping of angle, channel or I beams.









Quick Change Punch Unit
The quick change tooling system makes changing punches and dies a breeze.

With machines nearing 50 years of age and still in operation, you can be sure that a PeddiWorker will still be processing steel for years to come.

  • Angle shearing capabilities up to 5 x 5 x 1/2″.
  • Flat shearing up to 16″ x 3/4″
