Don't just take our word for it. Read about some of the ways other fabricators are using robotic welding cells and arms to diversify and become more profitable.
Welding Cell Increases Quality and Production at Brinly-Hardy
Brinly-Hardy was founded in 1839 and since then have fabricated parts for their own line of agriculture products, as well as, agriculture products for John Deere. Brinly-Hardy is no stranger to robotic welding, they have been using robots since the mid 90’s, however as robotic welding technology advanced, the need for updated robotics became apparent. Rob Leasor, Brinly-Hardy’s Production Manager took some time to talk with us about the advantages robotic welding provides his fabrication process.
Robotic Welding Arm
Metal Werks was started as a sheet metal shop with welding capabilities in 1991. Since that time Mark has seen his business, as well as, the demand for welded products grow. Metal Werks uses a stand alone robotic welding arm to increase productivity.
Welding Cell Cuts Production Time In Half
Advanced Cutting Systems started in 1992 as a waterjet cutting shop primarily processing foam and fiberglass. As the business grew, so did the need for more fabrication equipment including; 5 –axis waterjets, press brakes, laser cutting, and in February of 2008, a robotic welding cell. Kevin Koenig, President of Advanced Cutting Systems took some time to answer a few questions about his latest piece of equipment, a robotic welding cell.
