Modern Machinery Company has always provided factory-trained local service for your press brake and shear equipment. We now offer comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Service Packages, based upon the manufacturer’s PM service requirements recommended at 1,000 and 2,000 hours of operation. These programs will help ensure that your machine will maintain its factory specifications and condition, and help prevent loss of productivity from machine downtime. Here’s what you get with each plan (sold separately):

Press Brake 1000 Hour Service Package

Machine:

Verify that the machine is properly leveled and anchored
Torque way clamps (up to 250 tons)
Re-shim ways (320 tons and up)
Check ram level indicator, adjust as required
Inspect all encoders and advise
Inspect ram bearings, bushings, pins etc and advise
Advise of worn or damaged parts
Clean oil cooler and surrounding areas
Grease main motor fittings
Hydraulic fluid analysis upon request

Backgauges:

Clean and re-lube ball screws and guides
Parallel, level and calibrate backgauge

Controls:

Inspect and tighten control wiring connections
Complete functionality test
Calibrate electric tonnage readout
Read ETS 100 parameters for backup purposes
Clean out main control cabinet

ETS 3000 Customers Will Also Receive the Following:

Clean out ETS 3000 control head
Run scandisk/defrag on hard drive
Save all files/job/parameters as backup

2000 Hour Service Package
All of the above plus:

Change hydraulic oil and filter
